With so much pressure on remaining professional in our careers, we can sometimes get comfortable with the traditional black slacks and button down style as our everyday work wear. Most professionals take for granted the freedom to have a versatile wardrobe. But did you know that research suggest that the better you feel about yourself that then spills over into your performance levels? Look good and work better.

For those who have the liberty of wearing what they desire to work, how much money do you spend towards work attire? Or do you enjoy the security of knowing what you will wear? I worked as a sales associate in a previous job where the dress code was business causal and I will admit that most days I didn't calculate my outfits I just went with the flow. But the days when I did put effort into my looks, I felt great and enjoyed the compliments as well.
