The first moment I was introduced to the artistry of Janelle Monae, I was intrigued by her unique approach to style as well as her natural beauty. She has become one of my absolute favorite style-cons/musicians and she continues to inspire me as her success flourish. I am always exhilarated when brown skin girls use their talents boldly and dominate!
Studying Janelle's style I notice that her outfits are her voice. Each look is intentional, classic, and sharp; I personally admire her style because she is always breaking barriers and giving examples of how women are more than just models for dresses and skirts.
